Confused by wall mounts!

Hi

Never wall mounted a TV before.

Looking at buying a 19" Samsung LE19B450 for the kitchen. Hoping to wall mount in a corner so will need to be flat on wall when not in use, but able to pull out and swivel when in use.

Do I need a specific type/size of wall mount? I am confused by all these references to VESA and don't know what I am supposing to be looking for.

Please help...

Re: Confused by wall mounts!

Hi

Your TV has a 75x75 VESA mount which means that any small VESA bracket should fit. This one would do what you're after;

M-Form - 14" to 26" VESA Articulated LCD Bracket

Hope this helps.

Fixings

Thanks Graham

What fixings (both to the TV and to the wall) do I also need to order?

Hi

The bracket comes with all the fixings you need for the TV. For wall fixings we have a recommended range on our site;

M-Form - Wall Mount Fixings

Or alternnatively look in your local hardware store for fixings appropriate to your wall construction. For a 19" screen you don't need anything too fancy for solid wall mounting. If you have a cavity wall then you need to try and find a wooden stud if you can.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Graham - most helpful. Will be placing an order shortly.

The link you provided for the bracket automatically brings up the link for the 8x50 6 pack. Can I therefore assume that the 6 pack will suffice, and the 8 pack version wont be needed?

Hi

A 6-pack will be fine, there's only 6 fixing points in the bracket anyway unless you want some spares.
