Which bracket for Pana 50G10?? must swivel!

Hi guys
Im just about to buy a 50"G10 which im excited about. The tv is being fitted onto a chimney breast which is going to have a false wall attached to it so that the TV is flush and all the wires are hidden. The area for the fireplace will be where all the AV equipment goes.

1- Which bracket should i get which hold the weight fo a 50" G10?

2- It needs to be able to be tilted left and right slightly (not by much), but incase someone is watching the TV from athe second sofa

Please advise as I have no clue on brackets!

Many thanks!

Re: Which bracket for Pana 50G10?? must swivel!

Hi,

I've done some research and added a post on here, awaiting a response from anyone who has bought the wall mounts I have suggested.

Have a look at my post:
http://www.avforums.com/forums/flat-...nt-vogels.html

I think the Motion Arm which does 45 degrees either way would help you. Just to let you know, there is one for 32-50" and also 42-65", I think its just a size thing and yours would work with both of these, but one would be cheaper I suspect.

There is also a Motion+ that does 90 degrees, but don't think this is for you and also costs more again. Anyhow have a look at my post, it lists codes of the wall mounts to search for, also there are videos of the in action on youtube.

Re: Which bracket for Pana 50G10?? must swivel!

Hi bustabust,

I have a large screen such as yours and was looking for a very flexible bracket and of good quality.
Two Assured Advertisers on this forum that you may like to look at are Dekomounts and Mformoline both have brackets that may suit.
Things I looked out for in choosing my bracket was build quality, double arm support, to stop possible sag and flexibilty.
Hope this helps in choosing your bracket, you get what you pay for as always.

Hi

Either of these brackets would do the trick;

M-Form - 32" to 52" Articulated Universal LCD/Plasma Bracke

M-Form - 37" to 52" Free Motion Cantilever Bracket (Black)

The second one may be better for what you want as it's much slimmer when pushed back to the wall; 74mm as oppose to 130mm.

Hope this helps.

Hi

There are plenty of cheaper options. Check for feedback on here for options and also consider minimum depth, a 50" TV can look like quite a lump when sticking out from the wall an extra 150mm.

Good luck.

Hi bustabust,

I have the free motion cantilever and it is a great piece of kit worth every penny. Well engineered by them I think if not designed by them, very flexible. I think it would be money well spent.

Hope this helps with your bracket hunting.

it certainly looks the biz. SO just to double check...

1- it can tilt up and down (easily)
2-it will tilt left and right (easily)

will take a 50" without sagging?

Thanks

Hi bustabust,

It is the biz,

Point 1: it tilts from vertical and then down, this is done with unlocking and then locking a screw when in position. This is like any tilting bracket.

Point 2: I assume when you say tilting left and right you really mean rotation. Yes it rotates left and right with one finger and no locking screw on this. Really neat, as is the pull out movement.

Sag, I don't think so it is built and designed very very well, up to 52" and 75kgs.
If you go on to the m-formonline web site click on LCD/Plasma brackets up to 52" then click 37" - 52" free motion cantilever, just below small picture click download documents, then click flexible brackets, then click MF-3752CB (fourth down) download, you will see it in more detail.

Hope this helps.

Great bracket I like it and when people see it its wow.

Waterhorse.
