Question Best mount for Pioneer LX5090

Hi All, I am looking for a good wall mounted bracket for my LX5090.

I am not sure what type but i would not like fixed. ideally i would like something with a good range of motion and easy to adjust

I have proper walls not plasterboard , i don't know if that makes a difference

thanks

Re: Best mount for Pioneer LX5090

Hi

We have a couple which will fit your TV and work in slightly different ways depending on usage;

1. M-Form - 32" to 52" Articulated Universal LCD/Plasma Bracke

This gives you pull-out, swivel and tilt. This is a good bracket for if you're having the TV in it's 'out' position most of the time. The bracket is easy to move around bute the pivots are friction loaded so the TV feels set in place once positioned.

2. M-Form - 37" to 52" Free Motion Cantilever Bracket (Black)

This one gives you the same flexibility as above but works in a slightly different way. This one has a very smooth and free motion which is good for if you're re-positioning the TV quite often. This one is also better if you're pushing the TV back to it's flat position because this bracket is just 74mm deep compared to 130mm for the one above.

Hope this helps for starters.

Re: Best mount for Pioneer LX5090

Dear ac427,

Just a short note from somesone who has one of Grahams Brackets, its worth having a closer look at what they have to offer. The two he has suggested are good, I have the free motion cantilever for my pio and if you get this you will not be disappointed.
It's solid, well engineered and designed by Graham, what works for me is the flexibility aswell, folds out from the wall and rotates to where we want it then when we have finished with it just push it back to the wall. I think I am right in saying that it's the only bracket that gets the TV closest to the wall when back in that position.

Good, very flexible bracket have a second look.

Good luck.

Re: Best mount for Pioneer LX5090

I am picking up my 5090 tomorrow and need a bracket also, but one that is fixed. Seen some on ebay for £30 do you think they are good enough or is it necessary to spend a bit more ?

Re: Best mount for Pioneer LX5090

Hi Wacky,

Good news on your 5090 great set you will luv it and for me £30 bracket on a £2k TV is NOT such a good idea I think. Have a look at these.
M-formonline or dekomounts.
I have the free-motion cantilever on my plasma from Graham at M-form he is very helpful and they are a quality range of brackets befitting our sets.

Happy aving

Re: Best mount for Pioneer LX5090

Great, the fixings I used for mine was the fischer 10x100 bolts. Got mine from Jewsons in the trade you know.
But they do fischer in screwfix which you probably have at trade counter near you.
Are you fixing into solid concrete block wall?

Hi wacky,

Good, glad its a solid wall.
Retailers and suppliers generally do not supply fixings these days because they would have to put in every type of fixing for all different situation or wall type, very costly and the item would go up in price. Not good. So its better to not put any in and allow the purchaser to get there own for there situation.

Hope you get on ok, its not difficult really.

Good luck

Graham, I bought the PTB11B from M-form and it says do not use fixings other than those supplied.
On the instructions it advises to use 12 bolts in the wall bracket, but only 4 are supplied as the others are required to put the mounts on the back of the TV..
Appreciate if you can advise asap please.

Does anyone else know if 4 bolts will be enough ?
It is a breeze block wall.

Thanks

Hi wacky,

Four bolts is not enough you use all of the advised fixings, especially with a breeze block wall.
Give Graham a ring direct or email, if you haven't got the right bolts supplied.
He may not pick up your post.

Hi

None of the bolts in the kit are for fixing the bracket to the wall! The kit is for fixing the TV to the bracket. The kit contains 4 of each screw you need for any TV between 32" and 52" so you will have some spares left over.

You need to supply the wall fixing screws yourself and I would recommend 8-10 screws and plugs suitable for a solid wall.

Best Regards

Hi wacky,

No problems.

The fixings I used we're the Fischer Fur 10x100 solid wall fixings, like the ones Graham has on his web site in the wall mount fixings section. (the one with the bolt heads not the screw heads). Got mine from Jewsons.
Sorry something not happening with the links tonight. Got to be the operator!
I will sort it, but in the mean time you have the details above.

M-Form - FISCHER FUR 10x100 Solid Wall Fixings 10 Pack

Thumbs up

I bought Graham's cantilever mount and it's really nicely made.

My brick wall was a bit less than a 100m/m deep so i bought M10 Rawlbolts, eight of the buggers and a 16m/m drill bit all from Screwfix.

I would also like to mention that Graham is great bloke to deal with, very helpful and speedy delivery too.

ps. i had a cheap laser level on hand and this really helped keep everything square
