Wall bracket for lg 42sl8000

hi everyone,

i have a 32" LG sitting on a an OMNIMOUNT U2 FIXED bracket for 23" to 37" tv's.

i have asking both LG and Omnimount a few questions, but neither have been able to help me.

would an LG 42SL8000 lcd tv be able to fit on my existing bracket. i have emailed LG for the VESA measurement for the tv. but they did not know.

i am asking as this new tv is smaller and lighter than other 42 inch lcd's

any thoughts people

Re: Wall bracket for lg 42sl80000

Hi

The LG42SL8000 is a 200 x 200 VESA fitting with M6 bolts so it should be ok on your current bracket.

Hope this helps.

i now have a lg429000. the VESA holes on the back are 200 x 200. i have a omnimount u2 fixed on the wall already. i need a bit of advice if i can explain what help i need.
The rails that bolt to the tv do not have seperate holes for the bolts to go in. they just have one long opening on the top half and one long opening on the bottom. i just cant get my head around that when i fix these to the back of the tv and put it on the wall i am worried that the weight of the tv will slide down the rails.
any advice would be appreciated.

Hi

As long as the screws are tight then it won't slide down. The weight of the TV pulling outwards against the bracket will prevent it.
