Corner Mount Advice

I would like a cantilever arm for my panasonic 42" plasma. I am looking for something sturdy so that when not in use it can be pushed flat into the wall (well flat 'ish) but when in use it needs to be pulled out out positioned for viewing in a corner. Here is a pic to give a rough idea of where the tv needs to be when being watched - ideally when not in use it needs to be flat in the recess (if possible).

Re: Corner Mount Advice

Hi

Either of these would do the trick;

M-Form - 32" to 52" Articulated Universal LCD/Plasma Bracke

or

M-Form - 37" to 52" Free Motion Cantilever Bracket (Black)

The first one gives you a little more lateral movement but the second one is only 75mm thick compared to 130mm.

Hope this helps.

Re: Corner Mount Advice

Thaks for the reply - have another thought though. I have a centre speaker to place and this is a little awkward if the plasma is on a wall bracket - do brackets exist with a fitting for the centre speaker as well?

Re: Corner Mount Advice

Hi mintster,

I have a similar set up to you, I have a free motion cantilever from Graham at M-form and had same problem.
I made a shelf across the corner, but you could put it on a stand or phone Graham and ask him if he can make a bracket to hang off the bottom of your chosen bracket. He designs these brackets. The problem with hanging centres of cantilevers if it was possible is that it would not go back to the wall as far as if it was not on.
Just looked at his website, what about the 32" - 52" corner bracket with 2 shelves, does that look any good?

Few idea's.

I would give him a ring nice guy, very helpful.
