Hi,

Has anyone here ever purchased a wall bracket off Amazon? I'm currently on the lookout for one now as I have just bought a Panasonic Viera TX-P42X10. The brackets on Amazon seem cheaper than anywhere else and have received good reviews too. The top two on this link in particular interest me...

I'm a bit concerned about the depth (8cm) and would prefer slimmer but don't want such a slim one where I will struggle to connect the leads to the back of the TV.

I've just been on the M-Form site and spotted some on there. Interesting that the depth on the super slim tilting one is 32mm. Is this enough room to connect the cables (SCART, HDMI etc) safely to the back of the TV?

The new Pannys are tricky because the connectors are close to the back of the TV, ie, not really recessed at all. The super slim bracket would probably be too slim although you do get a selection of spacers in the kit to tailor it.

You'd actually be better with this one;

M-Form - 32" to 52" Tilting Universal LCD/Plasma Bracket

This is 60mm thick which is usually about right for the necessary connections. Price is more but does include delivery (not £8.50 extra like the amazon ones)

Does that bracket come with all the necessary fixing (screws/bolts to connect the bracket to the TV and wall)? I take it full instructions are provided?

Does it have a horizontal tilt to allow the TV to slide left or right? or is just up or down? And how long is the warranty?

Hi

We don't include wall fixings but everything else is in the kit to fit your TV.

Tilt is vertical only.

Guarantee is for the life of the install. Basically once you've attached the TV you've purchased it for it's guaranteed for life in that configuration.
