Hi

Your TV has a standard VESA 200 x 200 fixing on the back. However, for a TV this size you really need a wall plate large enough to spread the load so a universal type bracket would be best. Here's the sort of thing;

M-Form - 32" to 42" SUPER SLIM LCD/Plasma Bracket

M-Form - 32" to 42" SUPER SLIM Tilting LCD/Plasma Bracket

You said you are mounting half into brick and half into plasterboard, how does this work and which half is which?

Hi

Ah, ok. You'd probably be better with something with a solid back plate then like this;

M-Form - 32" to 52" Universal LCD/Plasma Bracket

You can use solid wall fixings in all the left side fixing points and then reinforce the bracket with plasterboard toggle fixings on the right. You'd need at least 4 fixings in the concrete though.

Re: samsung LE40B550

ps i was thinking that a mount where it hangs from with say 12 / 15 plastbored screws would do the job as the t.v is only around 19kg

Re: samsung LE40B550

Hi

It could be ok with that, it depends on the quality of the wall really. If you can get ANY fixings into the concrete then it would obviously help.
