Hi

Yes it will. Check with the cables you are using that a slimline will work. You need to make sure there's enough room between the wall and the TV to get you SCART/HDMI/Power etc out of the back of the TV. There are some spacers included in the kit to give you a little extra room.

Choose whatever you want....

Just use right angle plugs

A Vogals VP-F80 will sit flush against the wall, and is rather cheap. I mount this model TV all the time with this bracket, with all inputs filled, it is a good option

Hi

You'll find that even a right angled IEC Power connector is still deeper than 20mm so it is always worth checking how recessed the connectors are in the TV. Also SCARTS are always a problem and even the right angled ones are fairly deep.

It's a genuine consideration which changes from TV to TV.

Ok fine thanks for that,

Before I call you I just wanted to ask, as I am ordering them on behalf of someone else and they have found this bracket which is a smilualr one but for less money was there any chance of having any discount to price match so that we can order both through you.

Other bracket

I'd rather you get the business after you have helped me before too.

Cheers

Re: Toshiba Regza 42XV635DB

Hi

Unfortunately not... We can't match that price for this product.

The bracket you've linked to is cheaper but it is a completely different design. Ours has a double arm arrangement which makes the whole thing much sturdier and less prone to sagging or twisting at full extension. It has a weight capacity of 45Kgs where ours is 75Kgs. It's up to you (or your friend) in the end, there's always cheaper ones.

It's the 'hatch back car' scenario, why do people pay extra for a Golf when a Focus does the same thing?

Best Regards

Re: Toshiba Regza 42XV635DB

Hi

Either of these two would fit your TV. Both are very sturdy and offer tilt, turn and swivel;

M-Form - 32" to 52" Articulated Universal LCD/Plasma Bracke

M-Form - 37" to 52" Free Motion Cantilever Bracket (Black)

Hope this helps

Re: Toshiba Regza 42XV635DB

Hi Graham,

Thanks for the info on this thread. I'll be buying this TV in the next few days and will be ordering the free motion cantilever bracket you mention above.

I'll be mounting the TV into a breeze block wall so I'm assuming that a pack of your Fischer FUR 10x100 Solid Wall Fixings (6 Pack) will be suitable?

Re: Toshiba Regza 42XV635DB

Hi

Yes those will be sufficient. If you add a note at checkout I'll arrange to put 8 in so you have a couple of spares.

Re: Toshiba Regza 42XV635DB

Hi Graham,

I've now bought the TV and will be ordering the bracket today or tomorrow. I'm used to putting shelves etc up, so are these brackets quite easy to fit or do I need an engineering degree?

Cheers!

Re: Toshiba Regza 42XV635DB

Hi

No degree needed for fitting these. The bracket comes fully assembled so all you do is fit the bracket to the wall, fit the arms to the TV and hang the TV on the wall part.

Instructions are here; http://www.m-formonline.co.uk/index....d=27&Itemid=40

Hope this helps.
