** WARNING ** Right, I am gonna give a full on RAGE post here, if u dont wanna read, dont read, but do not read then moan about my raging, I am mighty FKN angry about this ****.

I have my 40W5500 at the end of my bed, I am looking for a simple stand so I can take it off the rubbish chest of draws I nicked from the other room temporarily.

my problem is simple? I want something with the correct height, (I want the bottom of the TV about 65-85cm off the floor, I do not want to wall mount due to moving my room about sometimes, NOT THAT HARD REALLY IS IT..

OH BUT IT IS,

First off I had no idea u could pay half your TV again for some piece of **** pole.

I am actually ASTOUNDED at the price of TV stands, I mean u find something thats even half close and all of a sudden u see its upto 37" for example, then u see something that might be good and its £300+ OR u see something that looks like a FULL ON piece of **** good for nothin and its £700!

Jesus all I am looking for is something to put my TV on, thats not too high, and not to low.. THATS IT! oh and here is the HUGE catch, I aint paying more than £150 I swear to god ill MAKE one before I **** half my TV price away on some god awful dogshit pole with a bottom shelf.

I mean I just want anything SIMPLE, for example... THIS would be PERFECT

yeah..RIGHT, apart from the fact you cant put a 40" TV on it, it is the wrong height, and NONE ajustable and its considered a BARGAIN at £230

Currently the BOTTOM of my TV is PERFECT HEIGHT @ 75cm off the floor, & would be FINE at around 65 (minimum) or 85 (max for comfotable viewing rly) NO PROBLEM! but can I find anything? NO.

LOL we have about.... 4-5 units/chest of draws/stand type things etc lurking about the house, ALL of them lovely, and 1 of them this god awful old piece of **** chest of draws thats about 20 years old n falling apart, paninted WHITE n looks like it should be on a scrap heap, sitting in the spare room full of old junk...

and u can guess which was the absolute perfect height, how BLOODY RANDOM...

Seriously I gotta replace this god awful thing and fast, and within reason.
