Hi,

I am thinking of visiting either of these places for 1 day/1 night during a trip to the Dubai, (we want to spend most of our time in the latter as its a favourite haunt of ours).

I know that isn't a lot of time to do a place justice but just wondered which would be the more exotic/interesting compared to Dubai ?

I get the impression that Muscat is greener and atypical for an Arab city. And that Doha is like "Dubai-on-valium". I think I would be swayed by whichever was the more "beautiful" city to be/drive around/soak up. I know thats in the eye of the beholder and all that but would be interested in any comments about Doha and/or Muscat.
