At least you get to watch the Aresnal game.

In Scotland (were we get STV instead of ITV1) we get the Celtic game and on ITV2 we get the Celtic game.

Don't matter if you have Sky or NTL, still the same.

...You used to be able to add your own channels and pick up all regions. It meant I could watch STV if I wanted to.

Thank god sky didn't!

it's bad enough i can't watch the premier league, at least i get to watch some of the champions league. Not all of us can afford the extortionate rates premiership + and sky sport packages charge

I know you can view the different BBC regions on Sky but my mate who has Sky+ says you def can't view different ITV regions.

Anyone prove him wrong?

You can watch different itv regions on sky, not got sky +.

I just checked my added channels. You have to search for them unlike bbc regions that are on the EPG. Can't remember the freq off the top of my head but the're def still on my "other channels"

Yeah, the difference is that the BBC regions come as standard, but the ITV ones have to be programmed in.

I much prefer Sky to ITV but I can sympathise with people who don't have it - not being able to watch the Rangers Man Utd game tomorrow (even the highlights) must be horrible!

Rangers 1 - 3 Man Utd by the way

I hate having to watch on ITV as they quite often don't have it in widescreen and you have to put up with those crap bars down the side

I have just slapped my mate with Sky+ around the head and told him to sort it out.

He's gonna try tuning them in tonight.

You only get the bars down the side on away games where foreign broadcasters are in charge of the production as they don't tend to use widescreen format outside the uk.

FYI

My mate found some instructions on the web and is now the proud owner of 16 new ITV regions.

Means we can watch Arsenal when Celtic are on on a Tuesday.

Not that i'm a Rangers fan or anything.......we were robbed by the way. Lovenkrands should have scored 2 the twit.
And don't ask me what Moore was up to with those clearnces of his
