Kenny and his new girlfriend go to a Jonas Brothers concert in the 13th season premiere of "South Park" titled, "The Ring."

Thinking it's his way into her heart and other body parts, Kenny takes his new girlfriend to a Jonas Brothers concert. However, his dream of taking their relationship to the next level is crushed when the Jonas Brothers give them purity rings.

That's right, people. This episode marks the return of Colorado's Finest with brand-new episodes of South Park beginning Friday night, March 13th at 10:00.

This is the first time these episodes have been on telly in this country - if you're a true South Park Fan, we guarantee you won't want to miss this.

Well after last weeks false start, (still not sure why they pulled The Ring from schedule?) Paramount Comedy actually aired Episode 2 of Season 13 last night! An amusing parody of The Dark Knight and Watchmen with a poke at the hype surrounding Obama thrown in for good measure.

Repeated on Sunday at 9pm for anyone who didn't bother to tune in after last week' farce.

They did show the ring last week as episode 1.

The Ring was SP at it's best, the takeoff of the vigilante genre also worked very well.
As for Paramount I think they screen too much SP and the new eps could get lost in the mix, didn't even realise they would be on so soon.

Paramount Comedy UK didn't, not on the Friday anyway. The announcer apologised for the change of schedule and they repeated an old episode instead.

Allegedly it was due to the possibility of legal action by Disney Corp, like what happened with the Trapped in the Closet episode...

I managed to watch The Ring using alternative methods, very funny episode. Nice to see Kenny have a more prominent role for a change and the psycho Mickey was pure evil!

My favourite line of the show though was said by Butters regarding the purity ring:

The Coon was excellent. The Airport Hilton scene, including the guy from previous episodes featuring the Airport Hilton was classic. Cartman drifting in and out of his Batman voice, no one caring about The Coon, and the return of Chaos just did it for me.

The Ring had it's moment as well, specifically psycho Mickey, but I felt it kind of dragged in places.

Really enjoyed the latest episode Margaritaville, probably my favourite of this season so far. A cutting satire on the current economic crises and the near religious faith the American people have in economic institutions and their new president' recovery plan.

The headless chicken scene is worryingly close to what i suspect they're in fact doing

Drifted away from South Park for a good few years there, but have been wastching the new series and i actually think the show is getting better, funnier and smarter with age! Love it!

I thought that Eat, Pray, Queef was probably the weakest episode of Season 13 so far but it did have a couple of very funny moments: Butters getting queefed on and proceeding run all the way home from school screaming his head off plus the road warrior queef at the debate
