Hi,

First epsoide was promising and it already has me hooked. The two leads I like but I'm not too sure about the prof. but here's the catch I seem doomed to watching shows that crash and burn. Fingers crossed.

Hi,

FX is repeating THE LISTENER Episode 1, and then showing Episode 2 straight afterwards on Sunday night, from 8pm. As the show is practically airing at the same week as in Canada, no news as to how well the show is doing, whether or not we're going to get a 13-episode season, a full-length season, or what!

Still, it's an interesting show, and definitely has some good ideas under its belt. The show hasn't even made it to the US yet!

Ep1 is also ad-free on Sky+ Anytime up until 15th ... just copy it across to the planner just in case you forget and it's too late

Just watched the first eps didn't love it but didn't hate it either, i'll defo keep watching to see if it gets better or not.

One thing i didn't like was the washed out look they have gone for i downloaded the 720p version which looked sharp etc just hated the washed out effect.

Episode 1: Pilot

It was not great, the acting was fine, an ability very similar to Matt in Heroes, there is plenty off other shows i rather watch, i see how the next few episodes pan out, for the format - crime solving via an ability, i really liked 'Tru Calling' which was cancelled and that was a good series. 6/10

Recorded the HD repeat and watched in the wee hours of today.
It wasn't bad, has some potential so we'll see about how the second ep pans out.

I can't say I was hooked, but found it enjoyable. Decent popcorn TV.
