Heads up - Kung Fu Hustle tonight on Film 4

10.40 tonight.

Dont know if anyone is interested but this is a very funny very underated film.

Not really into martial arts films but I gave this a go a while back and I thought it was hilarious the production, music and story are excellent.

If you have nothing to do give it a go or stick it in your planner its worth it .

I've the Blu-Ray of this. I love it. I cry with laughter everytime I watch it. Even my wife likes it.

My son hates it though.

Bri i bet it looks awesome in Blu Ray mate.

I started watching it I thought this is strange and it just got so funny and very cool i loved it .

It's a brilliant film but it not easy to judge the picture quality when you're crying with laughter. The tears get in the way.

From the opening sequence you would never guess it's a comedy. The film's a gem.

the film is excellent

sadly the spin offs are rubbish

but the real sequel is due out next year i believe - that should be great!

the spin off stars the old couple (i forgot their names sorry) (Kung Fu Majong i believe)

I thought the old couple were brilliant but from what you say their spin off is not in the same league as Hustle.

yeah the old couple are amazing and provide most of the laughs

I've been a big stephen chow fan since seeing shaolin soccer.cj7 is another excellent movie although more of a family orientated movie.See hes playing kato in the new green hornet movie alongside seth rogen which should be interesting.

I am mate that was the other guy. I probably wrote it wrong though made it sound like I didnt.

I wasnt that keen until I saw City Of God which I loved then after that saw Pans Labyryth Kung Fu Hustle and even went back to watch a few like Das Boot and that one in Hiltlers bunker the name escapes me.

Obviously id rather it in english but a great film is a great film . BTW dont forget City of God Bri

Das Boot is another very good one. I got my mother a boxset of Last Of The Summer Wine. I was very amused when I saw there was an episode called Das Welly Boot. I haven't forgotten City Of God. I'm remembering check the Film4 guide most days.
