FX Channel

Having only discovered this channel in recent months it seems to show some real gems...

Dexter
The Wire
Generation Kill
Life

I am going to check out The Listener tonight.

Is there anything else on this channel I should be looking out for?

Re: FX Channel

Agreed it's one of my most watched channels, especially in HD with no ads during programmes

Re: FX Channel

Not quite in the same vein as the ones you have listed but American Dad & Family guy, two of my faves when I need something a little more easy going.

Yes. Deffo that one.

Do they have ad breaks in the shows on the standard def channel? They don't seem to on the HD version.

Yes the SD channel carries adverts across all it's programming, being non-simulcast and part time I expect FXHD chose to go advert free as there was no real market for HD specific advertising but a slight marketing advantage to being promoted as ad free.
Lets be honest, the subscription revenues alone should be enough without multichannel PAY TV requiring advertising, in my ideal world anyway
