Re: Al Murray's Multiple Personality Disorder

The first one was dire and crude to me, but probably the equivalent of Carry on type stuff when I was a kid. A sign of how times change, I suppose.

The second one seriously reminded me of when I bought my N95 in the summer.
The girl who served me couldn't even log onto the parent website and knew less than me about phones

But still dire, imo. Give me the "not the nine o' clock news" hifi sketch anyday.

Perhaps it's just my age, but it just confirms to me why I never watch ITV

Awful mainstream nonsense.

ITV should get the rights for Al Murray's Time Gentlemen Please.

Re: Al Murray's Multiple Personality Disorder

I watched the first one last night. As funny as piles. I found the straight guy pretending to be gay mildly amusing. It was predictable but I guess I won't to see her get her kit off as much as he did.

Re: Al Murray's Multiple Personality Disorder

I started watching one episode and really couldn't get on with it. I didn't find it funny at all, which is disappointing as I wanted it to be good.

Re: Al Murray's Multiple Personality Disorder

I've been disappointed with the show on the whole but there have been a few good sketches. One of my favourites was the middle aged men who are constantly going on Stag weekends, very much like some of my mates who seem to spend almost every weekend getting lashed in Eastern Europe!

A couple of others I laughed at:

YouTube - Jason Bent - Contract Negotiations

YouTube - Lee Nelson on Al Murray's Multiple Personality Disorder

I half watched the second episode as I like to give things a chance. It was dire.

Re: Al Murray's Multiple Personality Disorder

Just watched the start of another helping of this dros...(well half a helping)who does Al Murray think he is.

Apparently he has a degree from oxford, obviously on the strength of this not in comedy.

Its bad its worse than bad, how did ITV even think it was worth airing, the characters are just not funny.

Sorry Al, you think you are airbane and the saviour of british comedy...take a reality check.

And the Nazi in Pink...what the hell is that about.

Yes it's very bad. I assume ITV backed it because of how well The Pub Landlord worked.

It's alright. Duncan's Den is pretty funny.

It's in History. Hence the pink Nazi probably.

Am I alone in laughing at the sketch of Margaret Thatcher swinging two pool balls in a sock and taunting Argentina in the guise of Ray Winstones 'Scum' character. OMG i was crying with laughter

Re: Al Murray's Multiple Personality Disorder

the show is rubbish, a couple bits that do work are him doing ray Winstone playing Gandhi " i **** the British empire! " and the bloke playing the footballer being interviewed hes actually quite funny.

agree with that that show was actually very funny
