Anyone know why the last episode of season 4 isn't showing on BBC HD, given the entire series has been so far? Seems rather stupid not to finish it off.. fortunately I spotted it on BBC1, otherwise I'd have missed it completely, having had it programmed in with Sky series link.

I thought exactly the same. Why show the entire series in HD but miss out the final episode. On BBC HD last night at 8.30 there was a repeat of Jam and jerusalem so its not as if it had to make way for a big sporting event or something. There doesnt even seem to be a HD showing of it in the next few days either. Like the OP I nearly missed it because of this. Very strange indeed.

At times BBC HD channel seems to be being run as a Trial service; where we should be grateful with what they manage to get out.

No mention on bbc www as to why not broadcast on HD.

It seems the honeymoon for BBC HD Head is over, she is probably planning her next promotion! Maybe the new BBC Chief Technology Officer will take an interest (joins 01Apr09).

If only the BBC HD channel was still being run as it was when it was a 'Trial' service, IMHO it was so much better then!
