C5 News - is that dumbed down or what !!!

I had the misfortune to catch their main news programme (have not seen it in years) and could not believe how dumbed down it was.

Really reminded me of watching John Craven's Newsround when I was younger, except this one is aimed at adults.

Sums up ITV/C4/C5 in general imho.

Probably not as politically biased as BBC news though. Also I have always thought channel 4 news was pretty decent as far as TV news goes.

BBC1 news bulletins (esp. BBC Breakfast) are pretty dumbed down these days too ... I prefer Radio 4/5live, Newsnight and Ch4 News

Totally agree.

It's actually aimed at late teenagers and should just be ignored, imo
