When is The Apprentice back?

Any ideas anyone? Loved the last few series... and I'm talking good old English TV, not Donald Trump's rubbish effort !

Re: When is The Apprentice back?

thats's what I was on about ... it's usually on a week or two at most after that
- as it was last year for the Sport Relief celeb version, and the year before for the Comic Relief celeb version (they are both usually the second Friday in March)

It is definitely this date and time. Was reading an interview with Sir Alan in the BA Highlife magazine today on my flight, and at the end of the article it said it was beginning then.

Can't wait!

Well I'm watching the US version at the moment, and its now the second consecutive season of Celebrity Apprentice (Piers Moron won it last year), they've axed the original format ... kind of an oxymoron having the word apprentice in the title now
- not really that engrossing and too many plastic freaks for my liking (Joan Rivers and her chronic liar daughter for example this season)

Re: When is The Apprentice back?

Ahh yes looking forward to it. The sharp suits. Guys working it out until the final. Girls not even bothering to pretend that it is not about me, myself and I for them. Contestants chosen because they are obviously hopeless (who can forget lobster boy last year)

Never seen it. Is it outrageously ott and fake like US Ramsey and X Factor and thus infinitely better?

yes and yes/no
- the now celeb version has really dumbed down the business tasks

At least our version is now great car crash TV with a bunch of useless arrogant nobheads and useless deluded morons, rather than the constant fakeness and clearly contrived confrontations of the US version.

Let the BS commence ....

BBC - The Apprentice - Candidates

Anita Shah

Ben Clarke
"To me making money is better than sex."

Debra Barr
"When I set my sights on something I have to make sure I get it. I am very cautious and only let the people that I can trust see the softer side of me."

Howard Ebison
"I am a credible businessman who wants to go far. I'm incredibly ambitious. If I don't go far down this route I shall go far down another route."

James McQuillan

Kate Walsh
"My CV speaks for itself. I've always excelled academically and I have really achieved within a corporate environment across sales, marketing and a number of different aspects of business."

Kimberly Davis
"I bring honesty and integrity to the table, I don't lie, cheat or backstab. I am not the stereotypical New Yorker and it's a stereotype I've faced."

Lorraine Tighe
"I've fought against all the odds. I'm a single mum with no education and I've had a very hard time. It is tough, but to have the confidence I have I should be very proud of myself."

Majid Nagra
"I think that business is the backbone to this world. Without companies buying and selling there wouldn't be any economy."

Noorul Choudhury
"I have always been ambitious and driven and I've got the capabilities to deliver. I am not all talk... I can manage a team of people, total strangers even, because I am feisty and have attitude."

Paula Jones
"I am the girl with a plan. I have great wit and strength of character, and I am resilient to the core."

Phillip Taylor

bs indeed

I won't bother responding to 'Ben Clarke'... too easy

Ones to watch out for: those who put themselves up there on their integrity, dedication, ability and being a team player. Wonder how much will remain when its you and the other person to be voted out

Re: When is The Apprentice back?

Is it finally going to be on in HD this year??!! Or are the Beeb going to screw us again. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the show anymore, the first series was great but now it's a reality show like any other though it does have some good moments here and there. The Mrs loves it however, (she's doing her MBA at the moment and is set to conquer the world lol) so I HAVE to watch it and wish it was on HD.
