Moving Wallpaper - Series 2 (with spoilers)

Friday 27th February - 9:00pm (30mins) ITV1

Ben Miller and the rest off tv production crew return next week in a new 6 part series, no longer tied to Echo Beach.

Kelly Brook guest stars as herself which is a bonus. With Echo Beach cancelled, executive producer Jonathan Pope (Miller) had a clause in his contract requiring ITV to offer him a pilot* to produce.

Alan Dale (Lost, and countless shows) was rumored to star along side Kelly Brook, the pilot* off the new show being a thriller spoof with them as passengers on board an aeroplane attacked by zombies. Titled 'Renaissance'.

I'd picked up that this was coming back. I do like to keep abreast of things.

Good start and funny when Jonathan Pope thought to save his career - sleeping with the boss was the way to do it, not.

Episode 2 - Again pretty good, they started work on the zombie series, and Pope hopes to sell it across the pond when the americans come to talk. The bit with the brick was funny

Re: Moving Wallpaper - Series 2 (with spoilers)

btw ... if anyone's interested ...

the 4-disc boxset of Moving Wallpaper S1 / Echo Beach is now under £6.50 at various retailers
- Find DVD: Moving Wallpaper / Echo Beach: Complete Series 1 Box Set DVD

if you just want MW S1 that's £3.99 at Play.com
- Find DVD: Moving Wallpaper - Complete Series 1 DVD

if you're mad and only want Echo Beach, it's under £4.50 at various retailers
- Find DVD: Echo Beach - Complete Series 1 DVD

apparently the combined boxset has extras unavailable in the other two

edit ... from Wiki:

DVD

Both series were released individually and also as a box set. The boxset features extras such as deleted scenes, out takes and the Mole webisodes from itv.com.

Due to music rights, the soundtrack featured in the broadcast episodes are different from those on the DVD
