Re: Monday night scheduling dilemma

Get a Freesat PVR and you'll have

24 (Sky 1 HD)
Heroes (BBC HD)
Law and Order London (ITV HD)

Watch one, record one from Sky and one from freesat

p.s. Also Inter Milan v Man Utd on ITV HD Tuesday

Good idea!

Any ideas, that don't involve me buying something would be welcome!

Might have to watch L&O on ITVplayer as suggested.

Re: Monday night scheduling dilemma

With Virgin V+ you can record two programs and watch a 3rd. One more than Sky+ can do.

i have the same dilema, however i am sure i read on here that heroes is repeated the following sunday night on bbc hd , so you can record heroes then or you can record the repeated episode of 24 which is repeated on the Saturday. However you should not have the same problem the following week as l&o London will probably be rubbish and you wont want to record episode 2.

Re: Monday night scheduling dilemma

L&O will definitely be rubbish plus they are just recycling old stories from the US version anyway.

Re: Monday night scheduling dilemma

Perhaps I should have said in my first post, useful suggestions only.

Ones that don't involve me
A: Buying a freeview box or
B: Spending millions of pounds digging up the roads and laying down cable from 10 miles away for Virgin.

If Chic is right, that sounds like the solution to the problem.

Re: Monday night scheduling dilemma

From what I know of Sky they repeat everything several times so wait for the repeat of 24. Do you kmow anyone who could record one of these for you?

Re: Monday night scheduling dilemma

ITV player's bloomin awful ... ITV are absolutely hopeless with the digital revolution (e.g. their £20M acquisition of Friends Reunited with a further £55M payment .... and now they've decided to dump it at a huge loss ... has apparently dropped to 10% of their original purchase price )
