A week or so I noticed all 3 GF films were on Modern Greats and nearly did a sex wee, then saw they were just SD. Got in from work today and saw GF was on again but in HD this time!!
Didn't see it advertised anywhere and can't see 2 or 3 on anywhere.

It's on again at 23:55 in anyone's interested. Apologies if I'm just being dumb and it's been on already.

I recorded these about 3 weeks ago (if not more)Actually I recorded first two and not the third as I thought the latter was a waste of time compared to the others.
They're so-so in SKY HD but still a huge improvement on the DVD version.

I've just watched GF1 & thought it was above average but a mate has the blu-ray version & reckons there is some intentional grain affects on that (I don't know if true?) so I kind of expected a slightly different feel to it.

I believe Part III (at least) has been shown in proper HD (by that I mean it was HD, on the HD channel rather than SD on the HD channel). But indeed as you say, Part I has just been shown in HD, and I thought the PQ could of been better but an improvement nevertheless.

I've the BD set and have yet to watch it, but on first look I wasn't that impressed with it either!
