Day Of The Triffids (BBC)

Not exactly ground breaking news (as it has been shown on and off lately) by the BBC version of "Day Of The Triffids" starts 0900 this Sunday on UK Gold. As a DVD/VHS release is virtually impossible I thought I would point it out.

I saw it the last time it was shown on UK Gold not to long ago.
It is a lot different from the film.

They recently remade this as 28 days later

just swapping the rampant rhubarb for angry men

Don't know the specifics - it's only what the 'Dr Who Restoration Team' have said on their website forum (http://www.restoration-team.co.uk/). Apparently exploiting a TV series "commercialy" is a world away from broadcasting it. And one of the owners of Triffids is actively blocking it.
