Spooks - ***?

Most irritating end to a season ever - so many plot holes in the episode itself and so many unanswered questions. There is a third series so that implies all was not as the final scene indicated.

Bloody cliffhangers I hate 'em

Still, it was quite exciting. I actually stopped playing GR on Xbox live for an hour to watch it.

Aaaaggggghhhhh!

Is just about all I have to say about that. What a frustrating ending!!!

Another damn good bit of TV over until the new year. Not really a great deal left now, if any in fact

Not managed to catch either series is it worth me purchasing the dvd's or does anyone know if a repeat of both series is likely? I'd hate to have missed a good prog from the bbc - they're very few and far between these days.

Not sure on the repeat front but I totally agree with you. Good TV series are most definitely few and far betwen at the moment. We appear to have been spoilt recently - 24 & Spooks on simultaneously - what is happening!

Personally I will definitely try and buy Spooks if and when it becomes available - fantastic viewing Does anyone know if it's likely? Planned?!

Who was the "Lisa" character - was she in an earlier episode, or did they just drop her in at the last minute?

Spoilers below for anyone who hasn't yet seen it... (Highlight to see)

Was Lisa the dughter of the one who set Tom up? - If so then I don't believe that she was in an earlier episode. She was supposedly someone that Tom "used" shortly after he started working with MI5, but evidently something went wrong.

It's possible she could have been in an episode that I missed, but I think that the story requires her to be present right near the beginning of Tom's career so I doubt it.

Then again... - I may even be talking about the wrong character I'm so useless with names!

Just to say that the DVD is great quality, and comes with a 5.1 soundtrack! Kudos to the BBC.

Cool

As to the end my opinion is: to quote Tom “Smoke and Mirrors”.

Although I have watched the series it has not been a patch on 24. Jack on his own would cream all the spooks team.
