Call me an old softie....

... but I dug out 'When Harry Met Sally' last night, uncorked a bottle of wine and sat back.

What a great movie ! Soppy, granted... but quality script writing.

So many home truths there, with regards to guys attitudes to female friends... or maybe it just touches a nerve with me.... ?!

The half-hour documentary that came with the disc was pretty interesting, too.

Seems that a lot of Harry's traits and thoughtlines are actually Rob Reiners.

And, did you know that the line in the diner, 'I'll have what she's having', after Sallys 'orgasm', was actually delivered by.... Rob Reiners Mum !!!

Hi,

I hate to say this, but I didn't like the film at all. Just wasn't funny for me. Much preferred "Sleepless In Seattle". Admittedly, the "fake orgasm" scene is quite funny once, but it doesn't stand-up to repeated laughs.
