Just popped to the cinema today and ....

..watched Matrix Reloaded...BUT noticed it was a 15PG!!

I can't remember the last film i saw that was an 18 cert!! IS it me or are there less and less 18 cert films coming out?

Even T3, is gonna be a 12A....whats the world coming to!?!?

It's getting to the point where I'm refusing to watch a fair number of films on account on them having simply ridiculous age certificates.

Even 15 certificates are often full of 12 year old kids scurrying around the cinema making far too much distracting noise...

Children are the scorn of the movie going experience these days - they should stick to Dr Dolittle and Jungle Book 2...

I'd also like to see adult-only screenings in cinemas to avoid their irritating presence.

When did I become so right-wing?

When I went to see Matrix Reloaded in our local Showcase , the staff were turning away anyone who looked under age. They even asked a father if he had ant proof pf age for his 2 kids.

lentini - unfortunately we're stuck with a less than strict odeon cinema here.

Nearest showcase is about 30 miles away (bummer!).

Dimmy - if you think its a problem then get onto your local trading standards department and the BBFC - certs are there for a reason the cinema must obey them - when i went to see spiderman last year there were 4 and 5 years running round - i complained to the cinema and they gave me a 8 free tickets, i've not had the problem at that cinema since.

I'm sorry to say I just can't be f****d with the hassle anymore. The kids are bad but at least they have their age as an excuse. What about the lack of respect from adults? If you want a conversation go to the pub

GaryD - if I see any kids in there again I'll most certainately be complaining (maybe demanding free tickets!).

Silent Lucidity - also a problem, yet one that rarely occurs in our neck of the woods.

Feedback on my imminent thursday T3 experience will soon come...

no kids in T3 today, although some monkey had the projector in the wrong aspect ratio!! For the first 5-10 minutes, everybody was very tall and thin, with the top and bottom missing off the picture!
