Quite looking forward to seeing the Veronica Guerin story.
I hear it's meant to be pretty well done. Good thing Guy Ritchie didn't direct it!

Who thinks Kate Blachett looks better with Spocks pointy ears and flowing Elven dress?

Not bruce almighty or the hulk!!!!

I personally would go and see wrong turn, which I am dying to see. I'ts had mixed/poor reviews though. Failing that it's got to be t3 or pirates of the caribbean

as for films this week-end, Hulk or T3 maybe or if you want something a bit different then why not check out Good Bye Lenin or Whale Rider (assuming anywhere nearby is showing them!)

I saw Terminator 3 last night and Hulk the night before - I enjoyed both.

Hulk was a grown up, intelligent, character driven superhero movie, more like Daredevil than Batman and not quite what I was expecting - it exceeded my expectations, not sure about the other 5 people in the audience but both me and my ex-ladyfriend thought it was good. It's definitely polarised audiences, that's for sure.

T3 was a rehash of the first 2 with action sequences that walked all over Matrix Reloaded - definitely worth a look if you like very big (and loud ) explosions. This one was better than I'd thought it would be aswell. Not too sure about the corny lines Arnie kept throwing in though. Cinema was less than half full for an advanced preview, I'd have thought there'd be more in than that - probably only about 70 max

Oh don't say that how long have I got to wait for a quality horror slasher!!! I just know house of a 1000 corpses and the remake of chainsaw will be pants as well. And I'll pay good money to see them all.

Anyone know when buffalo soldiers opens...or if it already has?

I have the region 1 DVD and its a very good film.I thought Texas chainsaw was poor but this is a much better film.Yes the film does borrow themes from Texas Chainsaw but its not a remake. Its one of the best 'horror' films since evil dead.Pity we have to wait for Halloween for the unrated version as this the dvd is missing about 30 min i think.

If you liked any of the horror flicks from the 70's the you will love this.BTW a sequal will be out April 2004.

Yeah definitely.
If you're into being entertained it's great.
I went on Tuesday with my 10 yr old son and we both thought it was great. A bit predictable, but very entertaining.

After reading this I went to see it last night with low expectations and as an action flic it's quite entertaining. They do rip off T2 alot and the 3D holocaust / future war scenes lacked impact. The chase scene with the crane makes it worth going to see! It was the only part where I laughed, simply at the outrageous action!

The jokes are pretty bad, but not so awful as to be amusing.
(think of Arnie's "The 6th Day" one-liners and you'll be close)
And the plot is v predictable. And the actor who played John Connor was pretty useless IMHO

Best not to think about the "plot" at all!

Has anyone noticed how Arnie loves remote controls?!

In T2 when Dyson asks how they'll set off the charges in the Cyberdyne.

Arnie gets a remote control helicopter in The 6th Day and in T3 the T:X can control vehicles remotely

Maybe the scriptwriters love making him say "remote control" in that silly Austrian accent!!

Maybe I watch too many crap action films!
