Gutted that this series has finished,nearly every episode was excellent viewing,does anyone know if there will be a second series??any news on a dvd box set for it??

There should be no doubt there will be a second series. I think it did better in the rating in the states than C.S.I. I originally though I would not like it as much when I saw the cross over, but the stories have been far better in my opinion and they did more one stories per episode than the two which I hate. I particularly liked the sniper story.

that was my fav episode too,i also liked last nights,i relly wanted horatio to get that guy,excellent stuff

what did bug mw though was wy the character of megan just left one episode she was there and then horatio got a note to say she had quit,did the actress give up??

great series i can not split the two though

I think CSI has a better cast in the supporting CSIs

I have never really taken to Delko or Speedle although clearly Calleigh is fantastic

also he is a ginge which is just wrong

Alan Dale (Neighbours/24/ST Nemesis) is also appearing in S2, though for how long?
Odd to see Ben Browder in the one ep. Such a shame they killed Farscape.

Not such a big fan of the Miami one, but the Las Vagas ones is unmissable IMO.
Great cast and great stories.
I prefer having the 2 cases in each episode then it doesn't seem as slow as with last nights Miami episode.

Basically, this is what Five are transmitting at the moment.

Tuesday's at 9pm - Season 1 of "CSI Miami"
Tuesday's at 9:55pm - Season 1 repeats of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation".
Saturday's at 9pm - Season 3 random repeats of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation".

I think you'll find David Caruso is more of a Strawberry Blonde, or Titian

Anyway, love both CSI and Miami, but Miami wins out due to Horatio's non-flippant attitude (I really don't appreciate Grissom's little quips at the start of each episode). My wife prefers CSI and also says the supporting characters are better.

Good to see Miami's coming back for a second series.
