I missed the first series completely. I didn't have high hopes until I saw the writers were Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin. It took a while to get going for me and to begin with I hated the kids. After that it was every bit as good as I'd expect from this writing team.

Hi,

It's by no means the best British comedy show ever, but it's very, very funny nonetheless! Series 1 was great, especially being stripped over two sets of three nights each (e.g. Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, and then the following Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).

The fact that the kids are so brilliant in it, and are (unintentionally) doing everything in their powers to wind the adults up, is masterful! Loved Ben's constant questioning of the vicar, in last night's first episode! "Why didn't Jesus just zap the Romans", and Karen't constant reminder to the Bride, about her previous failed relationships with ex-boyfriends?!

Series 1 is out on UK DVD tomorrow (17th Nov) for about £12-99. It's a 12 certificate (not a PG, like Amazon and Play are claiming), and does come with 18m of extra features, although I don't know what they are. Sadly, the episodes and extras are all rammed onto a single DVD, and there is no English Subtitles for the Deaf or Hard-Of-Hearing!

Loved series 1 and series 2 is not dissapointing.

Absolutely utterly classic stuff, needs no more than a kitchen, a sofa and some solid performances from a tiny cast.

Sheer simple brilliance.

I subtly recorded this in between X-factor segments and watched it while my wife was was present but not realising what I'd put on. It took 30seconds before she said, that's just like our Sunday Morning!

Nice show and must seek out S1 if it's as good as S2.
