Fake bands

Just watched strictly results tonight and had on overated Beyonce lyp-synching badly to her new song but this wasn,t the worst of it she had a fake(or real)band playing air guitar (air drums ,air keyboard)attrociously behind her this is my pet hate as in most cases they look like they,ve never seen an instrument before never mind played one I absolutely hate this practice and they get paid for this tripe they must think we are idiots do you agree people

Re: Fake bands

I don't think they expect their audience to have good enough eye sight to see the details.

Re: Fake bands

I know what you're saying here, but to put on a proper live set you have to invest a lot of time and effort setting up a PA system for the instruments and vocal. For one song on a non music show, this will more than likely sound pants, so while I personally don't like the look of it either, I understand why its done.

Re: Fake bands

I,m not saying it has to be live but is being realistic too much to ask for?

hehe, yeah I know, you'd have to ask if the people faking the instruments are actual musicians or not

Re: Fake bands

It's strange, I was thinking exactly the same thing, it sounded live, but at times the lipsynching was awful.

But it was the first time I'd heard the song, but it sounded like she was lip-synching over Heart - Alone.
