Saw the advert for this today saying it starts on Bravo soon. No word of it being in hd though but a rumour going around is it will be soon when Bravo goes hd.

Just finished watching series 11,12 and 13 today and I loved it. What a show. Cant recommend it highly enough. Not for everyone as mentioned before but the more it progresses the better it gets and the more you get pulled in. Great character development too. See it!

Other returning actors include Peter Mensah as Doctore, Manu Bennett as Crixus, Antonio Te Maioha as Barca, Nick E. Tarabay as Ashur and Lesley-Ann Brandt as Naevia.

There will also be a new character who is yet to be cast -- House of Batiatus' top gladiator before Spartacus came along. Other new characters "will help fill in the story about the people and politics in the House of Batiatus and ancient Capua as a whole," according to Starz, which saw "Spartacus" grow into a hit over the course of its first season.

With the title still to be determined, the prequel will begin production this summer in New Zealand, and is slated to air on Starz in January 2011.

John Hannah returns as Batiatus, owner of the Ludus, along with his wife Lucretia, played by Lucy Lawless.

Saw the first episode on my xbox on Sunday. Bravo's pic quality bit better tonight so prob watch rest on normal tv. Not bad start, very 300 like.

They lessen the 300 type effects a little as it goes on. As for the series it got better and better with a great final.

we were a little bit hmmmm.... after the first episode it felt a little over the top and silly but stick with it and it really becomes fantastic.
