Ch5 HD or CSI elsewhere

I see the latest Sky mag is saying (not that the accuracy of that publication can be trusted) that CSI will be in HD "here next year..." which is quite a statement.

To me this means either

Ch5 HD will be launched or
CSI from 5 in HD will be available via anytime or
extremely unlikely Sky have got CSI

I don't care which one of these it is but CSI in HD

That's interesting, I'd put m money on Five doing an exclusive short term deal with SKY since at this time their digital only channels will remain FTV on Dsat so encryption contracts are still in operation.

Maybe UK Living which shows CSI is going to have a HD channel ?

It's also possible Sky may have aquired the broadcast rights for the old series just like living has and be going to show them in HD rather than the latest eps if 5 still has the rights for them.

So the latest Las Vegas effort starts tomorrow, no CH5HD in sight so I wonder if we should be looking out for this via anytime !

Just checked the Sky Anytime schedules on the Sky site and there is no reference to CSI in HD.

CSI New York started Saturday and this never appeared.

Pity. Looks like the OP in this thread was mistaken as Five HD seems no closer.

Possibly this is something they plan as a future VOD service and they were hoping to do that with the new HD EPG, which as we know is running several months late?
