Fanyastic Voyage on channel 4 Tuesday 23rd at 13:30. In HD according to digiguide. Got to be worth a look.

Thanks for that, saw it in the tv mag but having it on DVD I wasn't interested but if it's in HD then I'll give it a go.

It didn't look HD to me despite the information banner saying that it was.

I have no doubt it was HD just an off the shelf master that had been quietly deteriorating for the last couple of decades.
A put in my DVD and upscaled it to 1080p on my XE1 and while the picture wasn't quite as detailed it was certainly cleaner and more pleasing image.

Roll on a full restoration but how likely is that to happen.
