Gritty adventurer Charley Boorman returns to BBC Two for his most daring journey so far – from Ireland To Sydney By Any Means. Thought it was a great opening episode in UK/Ireland, and being 72min, a lot happened. Nice bike Charlie got, and Charlie's dad showed us the Excalibur sword! from the movie, didnt know young charlie was in that film. Must see that and Emerald Forest again

Hope rest off the docu is interesting once they leave the country!

I agree really enjoyed it, i thought Charley has stepped out of Ewans shadow very well, nice to see Obiwan make an apperance though you could see he really wanted to go i know i would what an adventure, i wonder what stopped him if it was family or work....

Both i think, Ewan is always in 1 or 2 films a year, where as Charlie has more free time. Without it being becoming too repetitive, maybe it was a discussion for only one off them to do something.

Very interesting episode, Charlie invades India, emotional and funny, a few tragedies along the way, and a in depth look at the chaotic travel system.
