| Re: Red Dwarf voyages back to Earth
Its great that theres new Dwarf. I've watched it from its very 1st episode, when it was 1st transmitted.
I remember being about 12-13 and being board, and seeing that a new sci-fi comedy was about to start on bbc2.
I changed over to that channel and watched "the end"
Since then I NEVER missed an episode, and taped ALL onto video, spending countless rainy nights watching them again and again.
It wasn't until the 3rd series that my freinds at school started to watch it. It felt wierd to hear people talking about it, when a year before they didn't want to know when I was telling them how funny it was, and the fact it was set in space was just a formality as it were.
BUT . . .
I am dissapointed that they are only doing 2 episodes before they get back to earth. I wanted another series, and have always dreamed of a film. I just think this is a quick fix to end the whole story.
A couple of years ago I went to a memrobilla fair at the NEC in brum, and got all the characters signatures from dwarf. I also filmed robert Llewellyn doing the "are you sure you want to change to red alert?" bit, I got Hattie Hatridge to do her AWOOGA AWOOGA ABANDON SHIP!!!
They were all there except Craig Charles who apparntly was with his sick and dying father.
Danny Jon Jules is fantastic. He really is a people person and was giving away his new song on vinal. I still have it somewhere.
