The Man Who Cycled the World

Did anyone watch this 4-part documentary series on BBC1?, it was better than i expected, following Mark Beaumount's solo attempt to beat the World Record for cycling around the world. Across Europe, Asia, Australia and America. Due to the calories he would burn riding, he needs to eat the equivalent off 24 cheese burgers a day
And riding 18,296.74 miles about the equivalent off 8 Tour de France races back-to-back, and burnt 1.2million calories.

It was not a pleasurable journey, at times he was faced with many difficult moments, weather, equipment problems, mugging, exhaustion.

iplayer episodes 1-4 - before they go. About 30 mins each.
At least the video quality has gone up, but why can't they have HD streaming? so it looks sharper full-screen...
