Exclamation Profit on TV Sat 23 Aug 9pm

I just found out that the US TV drama Profit is on the Sky channel "zone thriller" tomorrow night at 9:00pm (Saturday 23rd August) kicking off with three episodes (or the pilot and one or two episodes). Then there's three more episodes on Sunday and 3 on Monday , again between 9pm and midnight . I remember enjoying this way back when so I'm quite looking forward to this chance to catch up with this short lived series.

I've had a reminder on Firefox for the past week so I won't forget to add the show to the planner

I must admit nobody else commenting is disappointing. But then who would have heard of this obscure cancelled show from the late 90's.

Quite a few (there's an old thread somewhere), and we might already have it on R1 DVD

Re: Profit on TV Sat 23 Aug 9pm

Yeap - got it on Region 1 DVD. Fantastic show - one of my favourites. I remember Sky 2 launched showing this series and I was hooked. Couldn't believe they cancelled it

I do think they were a little off beat with Jim Profit's back story. The murder of the Dad was all fine but the living in a box? They should have made him more normal in that respect because that would have made it even better. But all things said and done this was superb TV - and it goes to show we are talking about it over 10 years later (anyone feeling old?) how good it was.

For those who want to pickup the DVDs - Amazon are selling them for US$22. Well worth it IMHO.

And we all remember how they said that on the Family Guy, don't we?

The only reason they re-commissioned Family Guy was because it made so much money on DVD sales. As ever money is the only reason Fox do anything.

Re: Profit on TV Sat 23 Aug 9pm

I thought one episode a week not all episodes in a week, my planner looks seriously lopsided with Profit
