Where did Terminator: Sarah Connor go?

I happily recorded this on Bravo (Virgin media at 10, Tuesdays) but it wasn't on this week. Some documentary on riots instead. Anyone know where it went, or if it will be back? It's not showing up for next Tuesday either.
Thanks..

Re: Where did Terminator: Sarah Connor go?

I think the show ran out due to the writers strike:

I don't think it was cancelled (Bionic Woman was, I believe), so it should return (in the US) later this year.

Not sure since I can't find an overview of cancelled shows due to the writers strike.

Can't speak for virgin media but on Sky the Tuesday showing has been ditched. There is now just the 8pm weekly airing on Sunday.

Re: Where did Terminator: Sarah Connor go?

I bieve it was one of the many shows caught mid season by the writers strike. It was said that it would be coming back and IMDB has some details for a second series listed to start on the 8th of September in the States so we will probably see it someitme next year.

Thanks very much for the inputs folks. Barnsleykeith, you've saved the day; I checked ahead to Sunday and ep 4 (my next one) in indeed on at 8. Strangely, though I had set the Virgin + to record all episodes, it missed the different time slots altogether.

EDIT: the blu-ray is tempting too though. And is there a season 2 on the way anyone?

Cheers
Colin

Yes.

Afaik, season 1 was only cut short by a few episodes as there was suppose to be 12/13 episodes. It wasn't going to a 24ish episode season like there is usually is with US TV series.

My Sky HD series link missed it too. It just disappeared from my EPG. Went to Bravos website and worked out what was happening. The only thing is will it be edited for the 8pm slot? I'll compare them to my US 'obtained' versions and if so it's the DVDs for me.

Re: Where did Terminator: Sarah Connor go?

Last nights 8pm showing of TTSCC had a part cut from it. It's when Cromartie goes to meet his double and kill him. In the US version it shows him smashing the real one's face into the mirror and the dead body falling to the ground face covered in blood eyes staring open and lifeless. Bravo faded to black before the violence started and all you hear is the mirror smashing.
That's me done with Bravo for another 10 years. They stop the 9pm showing and put it in a 8pm slot. What a bunch of ******s. Already ordered the DVD.

Yep, thats certainly on the Blu-ray.
I really enjoyed watching this, although it was far too short at 9 episodes.
The second season is due to start in the US early next month, and is scheduled for 13 episodes.
One thing i found a little strange was, why does Cameron totally change the way she acts after it is revealed who she is?

I only have one negative comment specifically about the US Blu-ray disc - you cannot directly select individual episodes.
