BBC1 Studio Shows Over Colour-Saturated?

I have my my Sky HD box calibrated with the Sky HD Test Card.

I get a perfect picture for most programmes, sports and movies. Very lifelike and not in any way garish.

Yet when I watch a BBC1 studio based entertainment show, they are always totally OTT with colour saturation and I almost need to wear sunglasses.

This applies to Last Choir Standing, the Oliver thingy, Strictly Come Dancing and the 'pick a song' for Eurovision.

Does anyone else notice this?
