Rumor has it Mitch Pileggi will appear in an upcoming episode of Supernatural as the brothers grandpa. Mitch is famous for his part in X files and recently as Colonel Caldwell on Stargate Atlantis.

I think season 4 will be mainly about saving Dean from the deal he did with the demon a couple of seasons back.

Its a US date.

I just did a google and Supernatural comes up as being aired in the UK around January 2009 on itv2. No fixed date has been given.

Going to watch the season opener tonight

Only started watching this by chance, remembered at the last minute it was starting and the OH became hooked, wonder why

We both really enjoy the show, love the humour and the classic rock

Will post some opinions of the new season later.

Episode 1 - Lazarus Rising

Wow that was cool, in a subdued way, everything kind off happened at one pace, and spoiler the new guy Castiel expands the supernatural world and should be interesting. The physic lady (who was up for anything, made me laugh) getting her eyes burnt out

They got rid of the blonde Katie Cassidy as Ruby last season, and bought some cheap doughnut in as the new Ruby so this season

she seemed very wooden. The creator said they had to let Katie Cassidy go due to budgetry reasons, she was worth every dollar!, and so was Bella. So is this new Ruby really cheap? I think Bella and Ruby last season were too hot and stealing the limelight from the boys, so they ditched em.

As for the episode tonight, awesome twist for the rest off the season. 9/10

Yeah you could be right there.

This made me laugh SpoilerDean stabs he angel with the knife that kills all the demons and it doe's nothing to what doe's bobby do? tries to hit it with a crowbar

One of the things that helps this show stand out is the odd humour, perky nipples indeed.

Very enjoyable

I was worried that how they got Dean out of hell would be too cliched and deus ex machina (and also a little rushed) but I liked this. I didnt see it coming until midway through the episode, and it's actually a linear development of the universe.

So we can assume then that Dean is needed to stop/rein in Sammy before he goes postal? Starting to get cool Hellblazer vibes from it!

Episode 2 - "Are You There, God? It's Me, Dean Winchester"

This was a great episode, creepy, funny, well all the hallmarks when Supernatural is at its best, and more exciting stuff in the form of - spoilers
cameo roles off the deceased from other episodes back to exact revenage on Dean, Sam and Bobby. And some great one liners per usual. Loved the pep talk at the end, and Dean was put in his place about the bigger picture.. "...show me some respect"

"Bobby, you're awesome!"

9/10

Thought it was a good episode but it could have been better. Some great one liners but I thought it was run of the mill until the last 5 mins, the talk at the end though
