Unhappy Buffy: I am sad....

Yesterday the last ever episode of Buffy was broadcast in USA. It'll be broadcast here June 8th.....

Here is a link to an interesting on-line article that explains just why I and many others will miss its passing.

Yes, indeed. I won't hear a word said against "Buffy". Well, all right: there are some mediocre episodes; one has to expect that in a series of that length. But for one programme to combine genuinely funny comedy, action sequences that put plenty of Hong Kong martials movies to shame, sometimes actually scary or suspenseful "horror" pastiches and emotionally plausible and touching drama all into the same show is quite a feat. It's the sort of show that makes you feel slightly sad that there isn't more on television of that quality.

At the rate the BBC is going we will never see it! Cancelled again this week for no logical reason I can see.

I recommend getting hold of the uncensored US versions of the show if you can. Both the Beeb and Sky edit the life out of the show.

I download the eps so that I can keep up as I don't have SKY anymore.

Saw the last ever ep yesterday and I'd just like to say - WOW.

No spoilers from me though, you've got to experience it yourself!
