Many moons ago I watched a film @ one of my relatives houses. I was about 10 (it was around 1985-90ish).

There was a scene in the film where a woman rides an elephant nude through the City (it was a western/modern city)

Now whether or not I should have been watching is one thing but that scene has to nudge a few memories.

My question: What was that film?

What country was this set in and what was the style of the film eg drama, comedy etc?

Don’t know why perhaps it’s the elephants but could the film be A Passage to India?

Thanks for the reply, I'm determined to find out what I was watching (I've searched internet loads)

It was an american city I think, hence the fact it sticks in memory and the woman was white american but I remember little else about it

funnily enough my wife has been 31 since about 95'ish this "paused age" disease might be infectious

I'm only 21 So I was 10 in 1992 (that was poor maths in first post) I think I saw yhe film before 1990 though but I maybe mistaken

I'm still none the wiser Some knowledgable person must know or have I baffled everyone?

It wasn't set in Asia/ East etc... it was an American city
