Lost Land of the Jaguar

What a great programme on BBC, amazing place and animals. I missed the second episode, so had to watch it on iplayer earlier today, PQ was'nt great.
Wow that sabre-tooth fish was the real deal. And that team climbing the mountain and faced the flat rock-wall, 6hrs up, and not even half way!

Should be in HD as they were all filming with HD cameras?

Re: Lost Land of the Jaguar

Great show, my mum's side of family are from Trinidad so it's nice seeing some of the animals from the old island.

Though I don't understand why the Beeb have it on BBCHD 24 hours after it's shown on BBC1 I'll probably end up watching it twice again, as the SD just whets my appetite for the HD!

Eh Eh! It be a small world

The animals I most vividly remember from going over there as a kid are the Jack Spaniards and the Capybara- fortunately I managed to avoid the large tarantulas and snakes!

Re: Lost Land of the Jaguar

I thought wildlife programmes were getting a bit samey recently, but with this series it really sets a fresh new approach to the genre.
Cant wait to get this on DVD.
