What's Terminator: Sarah Connor like?

Anyone seen this yet? I saw it advertised and recorded two episodes on Virgin a couple of days ago but haven't watched them yet.

Were these the first of a brand new series or are they a re-run? Got to admit I haven't kept up on TV schedules this Summer so any info appreciated. It features Lena Headey so I'm hopeful...

Loved the 3 movies & loved this, it doesnt have the production values of the films but its such a deep & well conceived concept it doesnt really matter!

The show was much better than expected. Im sure its a re-run and that it was show earlier in the year on Virgin1.

Looking forward for season 2.

Just watched ep 1 and pretty good it was too

I must have missed this altogether when it came out, or maybe I automatically dismissed it as derivative. Quality cast and decent script, though I am faintly surprised that Lena Headey is going for such long-term TV when her movie performances have been so good.

Summer Glau seems to be cornering the violent-female market

I enjoyed it. I feared that it might end up in over long chase sequences each episode, but there was more story than that. Recommended if you like the sound of it and/or enjoyed the films.

enjoyed it a lot more than T3. really looking forward to series 2..will likely pick up the S1 blu-ray

Definately worth watching. It was a shame the writers strike led to a truncation of series 1.

Bravo are now showing it the other night they showed alot back-to-back.

I passed on this when it was released in the US, but wish I watched it after seeing some recent clips rather than now trying to play catch up.

Anyone remotely interested in the Terminator films will enjoy this series.

I really enjoyed the series but the show did have its problem sticking to Canon in the early episodes. Spoiler warning for episode two - highlight to read - For me the biggest niggle was cromartie's head travelling to the future when we know they have to be completely covered in flesh to go through the time portal. No weapons can go through. You would have thought of writers would have at least watched the original Terminator

still very good show.

Damn good, despite any flaws you may find. This is TV, not a movie.

As I said it's very good regardless of flaws but being a TV show is not an excuse. Basic research of only three movies should weed out any mistakes like that.

Anyway I can't wait to get my DVDs hopefully in the next few days.

I agree on both counts. The (British) woman who plays Sarah Connor is great.
