Buffy, The Vampire Slayer Animated - Unseen

An animated series was pitched for Buffy Animated between 2001-2004, that ever got off the ground and abandoned in 2005. An unseen teaser has now just popped up a few days ago, the humor is traditional Buffy.

Looks interesting - but why do Willow, Xander and Giles all look/sound similar to the live-action people, but Buffy's totally different? She's also got a bit of goth going on, not cute-cheerleader?

Thumbs up Re: Buffy, The Vampire Slayer Animated - Unseen

Hi,

That could have had so much potential: not too violent to concern the parents, but not too bland to force hard-core "Buffy" or "Angel" fans to switch-of either!

Buffy did look a little odd, but no worse than any of the others. The fact that they used the original actors, to voice the characters, was definitely a very-wise choice!

Maybe an animated "Buffy" movie might turn-up on TV or at the cinema one day?!

That's because Sarah Michelle Gellar was not going to be involved with this project, whereas the other actors were, so you have a different voice for Buffy but the rest are the same.

That was quite good but it's a shame I couldn't get Sarah Michelle geller to voice Buffy.
