Sorry, but I won't be watching Season 6, after the travesty of the first few episodes of Season 5. Definitely the worst of the "CSI" franchise.

It's hard to imagine that they could spoil it anymore than what they already have, but with a tag-along kid it sounds as if they just might've.

Anyone who watched the season 5 finale has got to watch the season 6 premiere, believe me it's riveting

I can understand where a lot of people come from in terms of placing Miami in the CSI family but it's such over the top goodness it's the only one worth watching, I have the L&O franchise for serious crime drama.

Can't really be bad if the writer of Bonekickers had a Horatio moment in the first episode, turned off about 10 minutes later...

Cannot wait for this to start.

Damn, completely missed this thread. Just saw a trailer on 5 for the new series, but hadn't realised it had already started.

Any ideas on when the first episode may be repeated?

It won't be on any of the Five channels, the only repeat is the day after on FiveUS. It is on youtube

Not sure what I was on about earlier in terms of the finale/premiere cliffhanger, this wasn't it and a quick search indicates it was just a two parter cliffhanger post-strike, my bad

after about five minutes my eyes hurt from all the shiny people & hyperactive editing.

It was as terrible as it's ever been, but as usual it was (unintentionally) very funny.

& why have the 'Oh My God, the suspect's your son!' scene at the beginning & then spend the entire episode as if it's some huge mystery to the audience as to who the kid is?

Yeah I didn't quite understand why they did that...it would have been better without. However, I absolutely love CSI:Miami and this didn't let me down. Typically over the top, ubercool 'H', supersexy Cally, shootouts and boat chases...what more could you want?

Sorry but this is just too pathetic now and with Prison Break coming back next week in this slot, this is getting a well past due heave ho off my viewing schedule.

I know Prison Break is far fetched but it is infinatly more believable than Miami - not even Emily Procter can keep me watching it any more

Frank got promoted to sergant, hence the move back to uniform

What about everyones beloved C.S.I. they have had some realy way out strories on that what about the one with the corpses coming back to life and tellng the tales of how thay died just naming one.

Told myself I would watch the entire series when it started.

So I goes and miss the 3rd (think there's been 4 now) episode.

Thought I recorded the repeat on Five US but it turns out I recorded an earlier episode from a previous season. The episode when Wolf is first employed.

Was rather good actually and better than the ones i've seen this season

I'll stick my head above the parapet and say that I actually enjoyed the latest episode. After all, Kelko wasn't actually seeing Preedle's ghost, his mind was asking how Speedle would have investigated the case and the hallucination was a way of describing this. Kelko had been shot in the head and is recovering, seems fair enough that he would hallucinate. CSI Miami may not be The Wire but it's an entertaining 40 minutes.

I might try and catch tonights ep. I quit CSI Miami mid-way through the last run on C5 as it filled me with hate

And I just read this outline of tonight's ep on radiotimes online (spoiler tagged just in case, but it is only a normal telly guide thing):
Glacial detective Calleigh Duquesne is supposedly a ballistics expert, but she handles a gun as if it's a mascara wand. Watch her snapping into action when she and a colleague come under fire - she's as fey as a knitted toilet roll cover. But, though Calleigh might have her faults, seeing ghosts isn't one of them. Unlike hulking Eric Delko, who "sees" his dead colleague Tim Speedle (he was murdered four years ago) at crime scenes, pointing Eric in the direction of crucial evidence. But then Eric is so dim he needs all the help he can get in the case of a woman who dies after being trapped in a burning car with her boyfriend while they were in the throes of passion. Meanwhile, Horatio (David Caruso) looks at his feet a lot. Perhaps his shoelaces are undone.

Wow. Does anybody still like the show?

Enjoyed last nights although it was a load of tosh.

At one point they can see casings 30 feet away at the back of a metal plate, and they get the location of something deadly and Horatio goes in solo without back up to a most dangerous meeting.

See the end of last night program it had me in stitches for the right reason.

I’m beginning to wonder if Horatio was mistreated as a child accounting for his protectiveness toward children.
