Shame on you BBC - Lost land of the jaguar
Amazing opportunity to show as Guyana in all its splendour in HD. Why oh why oh why is it only in SD.

To make matters worse I have just witnessed real footage taken with an HD Video camera in the program. It BBC are kicking dirt in the faces of HD subscribers.

Rant over. Great show though.

The BBC don't charge us (extra) for HD (you can get it on Freesat) they just rip us off with the TV tax (aka tv-license).

Sure it will be shown in HD in a few months if it was filmed in HD

Not arguing about them charging extra as i know they don't. However if it filmed in HD i expect to see it first in HD. For those of us that do subscribe to HD this matter is more than a litle annoying.

I was about to post the same about it not being HD.

I see it is being aired tommorow but this highlights the stupidity of some of the scheduling. It looks like they have 2 HD shows on at the same time - fair enough so surely the most popular i.e. the show you have on BBC1 should be the one to simulcast in HD rather than the less popular BBC show?

Good job you are not a fan of Last of the Summer Wine.

The new series was filmed in HD, has been shown for five weeks now on BBC 1 in SD. But still no sign of any episodes on BBC HD.

A couple of weeks ago they even showed HD repeats from last years series instead!!!

BBC tell me that they will show the new series on BBC HD - eventually. But no dates.

Just what is the point of having an HD channel and then not showing the BBCs own available HD programmes on it?

Scheduling on this channel now ranks as not merely stupid but inexplicable.
