I received my copy from Play earlier this week and I must say I am disappointed with the picture quality. Obviously it's the first season but after the success of Cheers I thought they may have a had a little more budget to produce the show. I don't remember it looking this bad on TV, though maybe the resolution of DVD is not very flattering for the old source material. Shame they couldn't have cleaned it up a little better.

I ordered my copy yesterday... I hope that I'm not one of the unlucky DVD"Not"Soon customers

Some folks reckon the R2 will have a better transfer... anyone know anything regarding this?

Arrived this morning from DVDSoon and no customs charges!

Shame I won't get to watch it for a while.... I'll be away from home for a couple of weeks
