Cool Angel The Good Terrestrial News

Ch4 are dropping Angel after series 1 and 2, but Five have picked it up and will be screening Series 3 and 4.
Hopefully this will mean them showing it a more reasonable time and at a permanent day and time slot. And with a bit of luck in W/S.

Surely they can't have much more of Dark Angel left to show, it could mean a prime time saturday evening slot for Angel then.

I don't know, they dump one of the best written shows around at the moment and what do they keep.......a loud unfunny mincing fairy who relys on the same repetitive camp todger jokes week after week *shakes head in disbelief*.

That's a party political broadcast for the BNP!

Seriously though, it was ok once a week, but every night???? Puh-lease!

Angel is one of the best shows around, Ch4 are nuts, Ch5 is getting better and better (no, I'm not taking the ****!)

Hi,

I agree with Collin! Five easily beats the ham-fisted scheduling at Channel Whore, any day of the week! If Whore didn't air "Frasier", "The Sopranos", "NYPD Blue", "ER" and "Third Watch", there'd be no reason for me to watch the channel at all... ever!

Five has definitely gone from being the terrestrial laughing-stock channel, to the most mature and improved channel I've watched in recent times. No stupid DOG's. No red-dots! No self-promotion of their own books, magazines, videos and stupid helplines. And no pathetic continuity announcers making really unfunny jokes, either!

Five rocks, big-style!

Cool

One minor point against Five, last night whilst trying to look at the credits to see who was in the film, they squashed then so they where un-readable. Why do they not only spoil the sound track by talking over it they also ruin the end credits which I find very important.

It's usual for Five to do that Garrett. The last complete film I saw on Five was Safe House about 3 years back as they did it to that and the action was still rolling. Twits.
I have heard that C5 have a provisional air date for Angel on Monday 2nd June. No time though. It should be in ws and without logo and "all new", "catch up" or "f'ing annoying" beneath.

Angel series 3 starts screening on Channel Five from June 2nd if anybody's interested.

They're hoping to screen series four immediately after 3 finishes.

They may just catch up to sky yet.

Channel 4 have pretty much nothing I want to watch anymore.

E4 have The Secret Life Of Us - but that's it.

not forgetting the westwing! Although they seem to air that whenever they feel like it. I don't know what the schedulers are on at C4 , but, they need to get a grip imo.

Soon as E.R. ends on E4 I'm cancelling Sky, I don't know when Six Feet Under series three is coming to E4 so that's that.

C5 is great

It's supposed to be on at 8pm so expect cuts.

I'm now awaiting Dimmy to post beneath me again. What's in a name.

I've checked C5's website, they have no reports of angel being aired at all - lazy website administrators over there aren't they?

I've emailed them now asking them if they can confirm the airing time for the show and whether or not an uncut repeat will be screened should the show be being aired at 8pm.

I'm expecting a reply within a day or two.
