Hi all just in case anyone isn't aware - Star Trek Movies 1 - 5 are in HD this week, the first movie has been on before but I don't believe the rest have, haven't watched these in years so may treat myself to a bit of Hi Def "KHHAANNN!!"

I caught a little bit of 'Generations' on Sky HD last night, and I thought it looked like there was something wrong with the aspect ratio. Did anyone else notice this, or was I imagining it?

i remember watching first contact on laserdisc, and thinking, ive never seen this much detail!!(opening scene, where zooming out from the borg cube) would be great to see these in HD, Damn i dont have sky HD!!!!

Well caught the last half of Khan last night.. picture was good but not likely to get your fake rubber ears in a flap..

Still had a wee tear in the eye when Kirk says

Yeah the Trek franchise needs a Bond type level restoration if they ever intend to release them on Blu-ray and then supply broadcasters with the new masters.
It's quite annoying the money Paramount and now CBS are generating from Trek and we only have off the shelf transfers.
